On reaching the west bank, there is Ye Old Ferrie Inn, who operate the ferry. We continue downstream to the Biblins suspension  bridge, cross it and walk back upstream, passing the rapids, to reach once the village, where the path leads up to the car park  4  Symonds Yat East large car park

A walk from Symonds Yat to Monmouth in the beautiful Forest of Dean. Near the viewpoint we join the High Meadow Trail and go down to the river bank. Half of today’s walk is a level path, which hugs the bank of the Wye, crossing sides at the Biblins suspension bridge. On the return leg we slowly climb up to the Suck Stone and an  undulating path then takes us through the forest back to the car park.  12  Symonds Yat East large car park
